P1000 Reichstett: tournament 17-19 July 2026
Tennis Club Padel Reichstett (TCPR) is preparing the fifth edition of the P1000 BY OTEC from 17 to 19 July 2026. The tournament has become a fixed part of the French padel summer calendar and regularly attracts a strong field to Alsace.
The centre, known as TCPR, is located in Reichstett in the Bas-Rhin department, close to Strasbourg. Over three days, local players, competitors from other regions and padel enthusiasts will come together. Organisers expect another demanding draw featuring leading French ranked players and the best representatives of the Grand Est region.
Three days of competition
The schedule begins on Friday, 17 July, with the qualification rounds. Those who qualify will enter the main draw on Saturday. Semi-finals and the final will be played on Sunday on the club's courts.
This structure follows the established rhythm of major French padel events: an intense start on Friday, the sporting peak at the weekend and a final that crowns the entire week. For spectators, it means three full days of padel near one of the region's most important cities.
As with several major competitions in France, matches from the quarter-finals onwards will be broadcast live on Padel Magazine. Fans can follow the tournament even if they are not on site in Reichstett. The live coverage underlines the P1000's status as a nationally relevant event in French amateur sport.
Over previous editions, the event has secured a firm place in the Grand Est padel landscape. Players ranked among France's best regularly take part, alongside the region's strongest pairs. For TCPR, the P1000 is more than a local tournament – it is a showcase for the entire Alsatian padel scene.
We Padel camp as the opener
Before the tournament itself, a We Padel training camp runs from 15 to 17 July. Under the supervision of Jérôme Inzerillo's team, participants can train intensively for several days before some move straight into P1000 qualification.
This combination of preparation and competition appeals to ambitious players. Those arriving at the camp can sharpen technique, tactics and match rhythm and apply that form immediately in qualification matches. For the club, it means extra visitors and a longer sporting week around the tournament.
The We Padel format fits TCPR's ambition to host not only competitions but also development and training. Players who rarely get the chance to train under experienced guidance gain a concrete platform right before one of the most important dates on the regional calendar.
Saturday evening beyond the courts
Alongside the sporting programme, the club plans a social evening on Saturday, 18 July. Food, entertainment and a fireworks display are on the agenda. Organisers want to extend the event beyond the courts and bring players, companions, partners and spectators together in a summer atmosphere.
Such side programmes are no longer a minor add-on at established padel tournaments in France. They strengthen ties between club, sponsors and the public and turn a weekend tournament into a social highlight. For visitors from Strasbourg and the surrounding area, the evening offers an extra reason to experience TCPR beyond sport alone.
Fifth edition with clear goals
For the fifth edition, organisers hope to continue the positive trend of recent years. Between high-level competition, live broadcasts and supporting events, the Reichstett P1000 remains one of the watched summer dates on the French circuit.
Entry for the public is free. That lowers the barrier for newcomers and families who want to experience padel live. In a growing sport, free access can be decisive in winning new fans and motivating young players.
Sportingly, the focus is on who can prevail in the Bas-Rhin and beyond. The tournament gives local pairs a chance to test themselves against stronger national opponents, while established players use the opportunity to consolidate form and confidence before the summer break. Qualification, main draw and live final create clear drama across the weekend.
